This rare and gorgeous instrument is the First Benedetto Elite Travel

Guitar - The Andy Elite - Mr. Benedetto hand carved using his finest European

Spruce for the top, European Flame Maple back and sides, and American

Curly Maple neck - woods from Benedetto's Reserve Stock used only for his

Top of the Line Flagship models.

The woods make the acoustic voice of the guitar rich and full bodied. The

floating humbucker gives it the perfect Benedetto sound.

The guitar is as brand new - it's never been out of the house since I

purchased it directly from Benedetto Guitars in Jan 2010 as the centerpiece of my

travel guitar collection, so after it leaves my hands I cannot offer a refund under

any circumstances - please be absolutely sure before you buy.

It's a museum quality instrument that I hate

to part with, but I no longer collect travel guitars. My loss could

be your gain to own and play this unique and lovely instrument.

The Andy Elite

In 2008, Bob designed a ¾ sized carved archtop guitar designed for easy travel without sacrificing a legitimate amplified archtop sound. The finished guitar, intended to be as affordable as possible, included a carved spruce top and maple back, satin lacquer finish, 23″ scale, sans-binding, and scaled down ebony tailpiece, bridge, fingerrest, fingerboard and truss rod cover. The finished product exceeded all of our expectations and has become one of our most popular models (named for Andy Paul, 11-year old son of Benedetto's President/CEO). Well, we couldn't resist creating a much more formal version of this very unique archtop so Bob built the Andy Elite (or "Andrew"). This miniature Violinburst La Venezia incorporates hand select, hand graduated European tone woods for the top and back, bookmatched European Maple sides, an American curly maple neck, and a mini-humbucking floating pickup. This is a one-off instrument and the only one we know of in this category of jazz guitar.
